Shoulder Arthroscopy

Shoulder arthroscopy is a surgical procedure used to visualize, diagnose, and treat various problems inside the shoulder joint and in the space surrounding the rotator cuff. This is done through small incisions that allow the insertion of specialized instruments. The arthroscope is a pencil-sized tool that contains magnifying lenses and a light source. This is attached to a small camera that projects a clear image of the joint on a TV monitor, allowing your surgeon to see all the structures inside your shoulder.

Ankle Repair

Spinal Surgeries

When someone comes to us with extremity symptoms, we almost always suggest they first get an evaluation with their primary care physician. If a person is experiencing low back pain or neck pain, we will usually watch them over time and encourage them to maintain good, stable physical activity to see if the issue resolves. If the issue is not resolving with physical activity, over the counter treatments, or pain management and anti-inflammatory medication, the next step would be to see a doctor for an evaluation.

DQ surgery

De Quervain’s surgery is also commonly called “De Quervain’s release.” During this outpatient procedure, you’ll receive a local anesthetic to numb both your hand and your wrist. The procedure will release the tendon sheath wrapped around the base of your thumb to relieve both painful pressure and friction. The entire surgery is typically over in less than an hour.
